About Me

Elizabeth Hennessey, English teacher at Grandview High School, has been working as a devoted educator, supporting Seeds of Health’s mission, since 2024.

She graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee in 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in English and Language Arts, 4-12 Education, and a Certificate in American Indian Studies.

Outside of teaching, Elizabeth enjoys going to concerts, crocheting, reading, and beading.

“My favorite thing about working at Seeds of Health is the community we build here… I don't feel like a number as a member of staff, and I think it creates a really interesting dynamic with students. I feel like students are more comfortable approaching us as people who are also teachers. I enjoy that aspect, as well, since it creates a community feeling unlike any I had been expecting going in as a first year teacher.”
